Today is a special day.

At the moment of writing this, the full blue supermoon enlightens the sky with her bright radiance.

Today , the 19th of August 2024, is the hebrew celerbration day of Tu Be Av , the day of love.

This day is regarded as the most joyful time of the year.

On the jovial day of 7 August 1941,
83 years ago , it was the day of Tu be Av.
A bright full moon lit the sky, just like tonight.

On this celestial day my father Moshe Dahari was born.

The Gregorian 07-08 didn't always allign with his birth day, henceforth He always reminded us that his true birthday was on the full moon celerbration of Tu be Av.

Therefore today, the 15th of Av, we will always remember him , and the immense Ahava his presence bestowed upon the earth.

His cheerfulness was contagious indeed,
As a matter of fact ,.to this very day i have never met anyone more joyful then Moish.

While i grew up i fondly remember him singing and dancing every day with old hebrew music from Teiman on the radio.
He could dance for hours , with joy never ending.

The main thing he loved was rejoice with his enormous amount of close friends, at all times and as often as possible.

He warmly welcomed anyone in his house, the guesthouse that naturally blossomed was famous with thousands of people.

He would have long deep conversations with anyone present.

I remember it was rare for the house to be silent.
most if the time there was a fascinating conversation in the kitchen.

He would intuitively call friends whenever he felt like, and they would call him day and night , from all over the world.

The calls always were happy and caring.
He would give them courage, advice and inspiration.

His brave adventurous spirit was unparalleled. he left Israel at a young age to go alone on a large ship to the United stated, where he had countless adventures , before landing in Amsterdam.
When outside , he would walk up to any stranger any time , for no reason besides having a little lovely chat.

he often got angry because he cared too much for all humans, however it would never last long. ive never seen a man forgive as fast.
His presence was greatly seeked, he attended many spiritual growth events such as ' The Essence ' where he supported thousands in becoming the best version of themselves.

His favourite hobby was the art of reading hands. everyone loved the astounding details he could see from observing the hands.

The joy he embodied also poured over in the beyond incredible food he prepared.
i remember great meals at Kidush where everyone was welcome.

These evenings were eagerly attended and often so full i could barely squeeze myself trough the overflowing kitchen.

Sadly there will never exist another men who can prepare nutrition as delicious as Moish.

With great sorrow we commemorate the irreplaceable void he left behind.

He transcended the earth on 18-11-2023
when he passed peacefully in the elderly care home of Beth Shalom.

May the fullness of joy Hashem has shown the world trough his presence continue to live forth in our hearts.

With Eternal gratitude to
His Mother Simcha (Joy)
who he told me always took the greatest affectionate care of him.
and his Father Zacharyah (Remember the source of Life)
who devoted his entire life to write the holy Torah scrolls. he often told me about the great miracles near his presence.

To be in Joy is to remember Yah.

And his joy will indeed forever be remembered.

Now the great lion is watching over us while rejoicing in the heavenly kingdom of The Most High.

'Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy"

"These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full"

שָׂמֵחַ לֵב רָפָא כְּמִיקֹוָק וְרוּח

this is the oldest picture he had of himself.

for those who enjoy numbers;
from the day of his birth to the day of passing we can count 30053 days.

when seperated we see the Hebrew strongs concordance of the number 300 is:
Achishachar:
"brother of (the) dawn,"

and the number 53 is
Abishalom " the father of peace "

How fitting, for he rarely slept and always raised early at dawn (Achi shachar) to remember his brother (Achi Zachar) and bring him peace.

in Greek we see for 300:
Amón: a king of Judah.

and 53:
hagnós /hágios, "holy," – properly, pure (to the core); pure inside and out; holy because uncontaminated"
ἁγνός, ή, όν

his birth date adds to 30 :
Abihu - 'He is the father.'

and his passing date to 18 :
the hebrew word of Ebus,
Manger/Crib -; the day he was called to humbly return to the heavenly crib we all come from.

18 in greek is "agathós – (intrinsically) good in nature; as to the believer, 18 (agathós) describes what originates from God and is empowered by Him in their life, through faith."

The date of his passing is 1811;
Strong's Concordance
dalaph: to drip, drop: דָּלַף
used in Psalm 119:28
HEB: דָּלְפָ֣ה נַ֭פְשִׁי מִתּוּגָ֑ה
NAS: My soul weeps because of grief;
KJV: My soul melteth for heaviness

He always told me never to mourn (his) death.
for the time a soul reunites with Hashem was a time of pure rejoicing.

How challenging indeed, for like most of you reading this, i was not even allowed to say farewell.
however let us do our best to honour his wish.
amd and when we think of mourning, lets put on a song and rejoice in dancing.

He loved all traditional songs.
I heared that this one was one of his favourites during his last year.

This was the last song we shared together. sadly from a great distance.
