As many of you know, Madonna and Billy‘s son, Hayden, recently underwent surgery for a cochlear implant at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. He was born cCMV (congenital cytomegalovirus) which is the leading cause of sensorineural hearing loss. He was fitted with a hearing aid on his right side at birth & had normal hearing on the left. This virus can progress over time & unfortunately for Hayden it did just that over the years.

Shortly after surgery, Hayden was taken back to Cincinnati Children’s due to having fluid build up. At this time, the Dr drained 75mL of fluid/blood off the top of his head. Hayden was put on bed rest for an additional week and is on his way to a full recovery!

What was supposed to be only a few days off of work has turned into a longer journey of Madonna staying home to nurse Hayden back to health. As of now, she has used all of her PTO time and has been on unpaid FMLA. This is on top of the medical bills that will start coming in from the procedures. In an effort to elevate financial stress for her and Billy, I hope we can raise some funds to support them during this time of need.
