Our School
Most Holy Trinity Catholic School serves 166 children in grades 4K-8 in Northeast El Paso. 40% of our students are economically disadvantaged and 68% receive financial aid in order to be able to attend our school.
Our Project
The original boiler that was being used to heat our library and multi-purpose room broke down and can not be repaired. We are in need of a new boiler to heat these rooms. The new boiler will cost $12,000; an asbestos abatement in the boiler room costing $3,350 was needed before installation could begin. The work is currently in progess. Payment is due in 30 days. Because of the cold weather we did not have time to raise money as these rooms need to be heated ASAP.
What we have done
Our students have rallied to help raise money for this project. Boys basketball teams staged a fundraiser for new uniforms, but did some extra fundraising when this situation occured and raised $1,700 toward the cost of the project. Our fourth grade stuednts are selling holy cards, rosaries and other items; while they have raised a small amount of money, we are all truly touched that they are helping to take this project on.
How you can help
Your donations will help us offset the cost of this project. We are a private non-profit school so your gift is tax deductible.
Thank you in advance for any help you can provide us!
