Motel Morris Staff Relief Fund

First and foremost, thank you for the outpouring of love you have shown us during this unprecedented time.

We were heart broken when we had to close the Motel Morris doors last week. It's unthinkable to close a business you have put all your heart into, it’s unthinkable not to see the faces of the neighborhood regulars that come in once or twice a week, and most of all,  it’s unthinkable to not be able to support our wonderful staff.

Our staff are the special sauce that makes Motel Morris so great. We are a family. With this go-fund-me campaign we hope to support our staff during the time we are closed.

We are turning to you, our community and family and friends to donate and help offset the loss of income for our employees, most of whom rely 100% on this income to live. 100% of the proceeds will go directly to them.

We are hoping better times are on the horizon and as business owners we are doing all we can to prepare for the restaurant to reopen.  Thank you for your support and please stay safe. We look forward to serving you soon .

Who we are:
We are Sam, Brett and Tamara, owners of Motel Morris, a neighborhood restaurant in Chelsea, New York City. This GoFundMe campaign is to support our wonderful staff while our restaurant is closed due to the Corona Virus crisis. 100% of the proceeds will go to our staff as soon as this campaign ends.  We cant wait to reopen our doors once we are all safe.
