Mother and child left homeless after arson attack

My very dear friend (and carer) Rach and her 7 year old daughter were trapped in a fire in their home in Farnley, Leeds on Saturday, they were rescued by ladders from the bedroom.

 

The force are treating the fire as arson with intent to endanger life, this happened whilst they slept. The Police know that they are not the intended target of the arson attack.

 

I am sure you all can appreciate how utterly terrifying and devastating this is especially at this time of year. In times like these we all feel pretty impotent as friends and loved ones, but I felt practically we could all show how loved and appreciated they are by helping towards getting their home back to something recognisable.
