Mother and daughter going through cancer

Hi, my name is Mary. I have a good friend whose daughter was diagnosed with Hodgins Lymphoma and has had several trips to Halifax; she is receiving treatment at the cancer treatment center at the QEH. Her mother was diagnosed a few months later with leukemia; both cannot work now, and the bills are piling up. Any help would be appreciated.
