Mother and children lose their home to a fire

Hello, my name is Hannah and I am reaching out to raise funds for my dear friend Emily and her three children. Unfortunately, they lost their home unexpectedly last night in Dawson Creek BC. Early in the morning on January 18, 2024, a fire broke out in Emily's house, starting in the kitchen and causing severe damage to the upper floor. Thankfully, she managed to escape with her daughter and dogs without any injuries, as she heard the smoke alarms go off. The exact cause of the fire is still unknown and is currently under investigation, although it is suspected to be electrical in nature. Tragically, the fire consumed all of their cherished memories, belongings, clothing, and furniture.

This devastating incident has left Emily overwhelmed with dread and fear. In order to support her during this challenging time, we are coming together to help her find temporary housing, provide groceries, clothing, and other essential items for her and her family.
