Mother May I: dance and discussion is a dance concert with a post-concert discussion where we celebrate the lives and honor those mothers who made their transition during pregnancy, birth, or shortly after as well as those women who lived to experience the journey of motherhood.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Black women are three times more likely to die from a pregnancy-related cause than White women. Join us as we raise awareness, share our journies, and discuss how we can improve maternal health outcomes for all women.

We are requesting your support to cover the cost associated with this production and a festival to address, pre-pregnancy, pregnancy, pregnancy loss, miscarriage and stillbirth, Postpartum, Self-care, and Parenting.
