Mother of 3 suffers Hemorrhage
Mother, 35, suffers hemorrhage after laboring her third child in a Minnesota small town hospital, undergoes emergency hysterectomy, suffers severe blood loss and needed to be air-vacced to the Twin Cities Abbott Northwestern Mother Baby Center. We are raising money, not only to help this family with medical bills, but also to raise donations for everyone and the entities involved in saving this young woman's life. (Red Cross for the severe blood shortage Minnesota is experiencing, The State Troopers DPS Patrol for kicking into action and relaying the blood, Hutchinson Health Hospital, ICP - Cholestasis of Pregnancy raising awareness).
Jenapher Blair, diagnosed in all of her pregnancies with ICP - Cholestasis of Pregnancy, experienced a focal placenta accreta at 39 weeks resulting in hemorrhage and sever blood loss. The Hutchinson Hospital only had 2 pints of blood on hand and needed to get more in fast in order to save her life. 5 State Troopers kicked into gear and relayed 2 more pints of blood from St. Paul to the Hutchinson Airport and Hutchinson Hospital. Knowing she needed more hands on and serious care they helicoptered her into the city to be monitored and to recover at the Abbott Mother Baby Center in Minneapolis.
The baby, Adalyn, delivered well but suffered distress and low oxygen intake, was ambulanced to Children's Minnesota alongside her mother for proper coverage as well, both to keep her monitored and kept alongside mother.
Jenapher and family would like to do what they can to spread the awareness of rare pregnancy disorders, the importance of giving blood (both universal and rarer blood types) and the importance of having all these important live saving efforts in place and working smoothly in order to save more lives.
Thank you for any and all donations.
