Husband and wife passed leaving 5 kids behind.

Dear friends and family, Mary Jean is in her early forties and a mother of 5. She worked as a Data Encoder at the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) in the Philippines. Her husband is currently working part-time as a tricycle driver while trying to take care of his wife and their young children. Mary Jean has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Breast Cancer that spread in her lymph nodes. She will start to undergo her first round of chemotherapy tomorrow Philippines time (July 12, 2023) after her operation which took place on 18th May 2023. She was in her first trimester (early pregnancy) when she noticed a lump and due to the pandemic and unavailable doctor's appointments, she never had the chance to have the surgery sooner. She was admitted to the hospital when her health worsened and the lump had burst. She had emergency surgery and was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. Her Phil Health insurance covered some of the medical expenses during the surgery procedures. However, as she starts chemotherapy and is unable to work due to illness, their savings and family resources are drying out and we humbly ask for your help. All proceeds will go towards the cost of her daily medical requirements. Let's help her focus her energy on recouping her strength and beating this cancer so she can go back to work to support her family. Update: She passed away on August 1, 2023, at around 1 pm Philippines time according to resources from her family. 

Another update: (Husband) Narciso Ay-ay passed away (August 9, 2023 - Philippines time) due to stroke. While the wake is on going for (wife) Mary Jean in their home.
