MOTHER PUNKER; an Arkansas Independent Short Film

ARKANSAS HARDCORE COMES TO THE BIG SCREEN. Mother/Punker is a film that follows Collins, a young man finding his identity through the world of punk and hardcore music. Caught in the midst of his double life by his mother Lien, she attempts to reconnect with her son through the music he enjoys. But as Collins plays his first gig, nothing could prepare the two for what happens next. A story about music, family, and identity, MOTHER/PUNKER is about finding what you love and finding acceptance from the people who love you.

Our film is an ambitious student project that requires combined efforts of volunteers and community collaboration, so we are looking to raise $8,000 to ensure the very best for our production. This will help pay actors, for lodging, travel and rental expenses, food for our crew, and location scouting, as well as music and composers.
