Mother shot

On June 12, 2024, I was in my living room, it was 2:30am. I heard loud popping outside, I got up to shut my front door, I heard another loud pop and felt an instant numbing pain throughout my whole right leg. I looked down, I had been shot. By some miracle the other stray bullets completely missed everyone else in my house. I got shot through my upper right thigh.

Now for some background, I am married and we have 5 kids, age 17, 15, 12, 7 and 1. My husband and older 2 kids did amazing and got help. I was rushed to the hospital where I received emergency surgery to repair veins in my leg. Now the bullet missed major arteries, bone and nerves. It went straight through. I was able to come home after about 36 hours. As of writing this that was just yesterday. Now I go to school, my husband is disabled and I am his caregiver. I requested what sick time I had available but it's not much. My family and myself are so scared. The police have no leads, I guess I am asking for a little help. I am the one that cooks and takes care of things, my husband and kids are trying to help, but with me basically being helpless, we could use some help right now. Sorry for the long read.
