Two mothers lose their houses to fire

أسلم عليكم
On the night of December 6, a fire ignited in my house. My kids called me yelling “Mom the house is on fire, mom the house is gone we can’t do anything” before I could even tell them to get out of the house the phone disconnected . My heart felt like it was coming out of my chest. I drove as fast as I legally could to my house with my other children. All my kids saw was smoke coming from upstairs and once they saw the fire they ran and grabbed a fire extinguisher from the kitchen, they ran back upstairs to attempt to extinguish the fire but the smoke and heat were too strong for them. My oldest son ran to the neighbors and they brought more fire extinguishers and came together to help attempt to extinguish the fire but it was too much smoke and the flames were too strong. I drove home to what you see in the picture above but it was engulfed in flames and could see the smoke from a mile away. Me and my kids ran to my other children and just saw them and all my neighbors emotional and overwhelmed with what they were seeing. The fire ravaged through the roof and floors and my kids couldn't even salvage anything from their rooms. Their textbooks, laptops, Tv’s, clothes, etc...all gone. The fire traveled all over the top floor and made it way over to my neighbors house. They lost everything as well. We are both mothers, I have 4 kids. My neighbor is a mother raising 3 kids. Everyone has lost everything. This year has been a test for us all with covid-19 and the lockdown. With that being said we are so thankful we are live. We appreciate every single donation no donation is too small. Thank you again
