Assist Joe in Achieving His Riding Dream

Hi I am Joe, from NY. After having some medical and long time license problems from a bunch of bogus tickets that I received on my first bike, I am looking to finally complete my return to the road and riding anything more than my e-bike, which has helped me train and have confidence that I can again ride safely without endangering myself and other motorists.
Earlier this year, I finally cleared my license of suspensions that I had since 2008. I will soon be ready to obtain my motorcycle permit and start the path all over again. Earlier that year that I owned my first bike, I also attended and passed the Motorcycle Safety Foundation's Basic Rider Course, and soon after received my motorcycle license. That nice new license was handed over to the judge as demanded when I showed up and pleaded not guilty to a few of the tickets that I received out of nowhere while I was just riding and practicing with a permit until I got my license from the classes.
Anyway in 2013, I got a second motorcycle and rode it two times, one day down to the beach and back. And the next day doing some shopping, purchasing my first smartphone and a motorcycle jacket, since all I had at the time was a helmet. On the first bike I had full motorcycle safety gear, and will when riding in the future. I also went and got a slice of pizza, and later that night, I didn't know it but I started to experience the beginning of a stroke. Things got worse over the next couple of days and I ended up spending that summer in the ICU and then in-hospital for another two weeks and out-patient rehab for a couple of months. and it took me until 2019 until I could even ride the e-bike with not a summer going as planned since. The E-bike is a full suspension fat-bicycle with a 750w rear hub motor conversion, and I also upgraded and customized nearly everthing on it. I have fallen a few times in the woods but got up and rode again, and have since worked on it and exersized etc and won't have any problems on the road physically or neurologically.
In early 2024, the SSI payments that I was living on since having to reapply in 2017, were suddenly cut off, and the SSA has not exactly been complaint with explaining where all of my missing payments are. This is also after having to wait until 2015 for my appeal hearing, which I hired a popular SS attorney for, but then I somehow never got any payments because the SSA claims that I failed to provide information, but I did and made sure that I did everything right. I had a whole bunch of doctors to visit regularly, a carbon fiber ankle brace, tripod cane, shower bench, and a C-PAP machine after two sleep studies. I also had numerous tests and bloodwork, etc that I had to do. Since this has happened, I have had no income at all, and have been trying to obtain assistance with this, contacting lawyers and organizations, with not much luck. I am mostly told to contact my local Social Security Office, or like they say, that I have to go through the whole appeals process again, when I already did that and won, and all for nothing. But this is all maybe a different fund-raiser.
At the end of 2022, I put a deposit down on my third motorcycle, a 2001 Suzuki GSX-R600. It had been in an accident but the repairs were nothing too major, and I could prepare to finally ride again as I fixed it up and upgraded some things, etc. I ended up getting a new front fender, front fairings, brake pads, rotors and lines, air and oil filter, fluids, grips and levers, windscreen, mirror signal block-offs and bar end mirrors, new Yoshimura exhaust, pro-bolts, rearsets, new chain and rear sprocket, etc and I also painted the frame including the swingarms and forks, and the new front fairing, fender, brake calipers, and center and inner fairings. I also replaced the rectifier, stator cover and some gaskets, have a new battery, replaced old stock bolts, made a custom seat cover, new hotbodies replacement tail lights, installed front, rear and center frame sliders, and a few other things. Now the bike is basically ready to roll, except for new tires and a new headlight, since the original that is currently installed has 3 of the 4 mounts broken and is heavy-duty zip-tied in place, and some plastic broken off exposing the inside which I had to temporarily patch up. Hopefully there isn't really anything else. You can see the 'before' pictures in the cover photo collage on the left side.
I have the money saved to register the bike and get my MC permit, but beyond that really have no income at all to support and sustain my mission to safely ride again. I would not ride in the streets if I felt that I was not able to ride normally and there really won't be anything compared to your everyday rider. Also, I am not an aggressive driver on the streets and just drive and ride normally with traffic and I follow the rules of the road. I don't race, but I also have many thousands of hours in every racing and driving sims since the original Gran Turismo, and I have a steering wheel setup too. The same goes for motorcycle games and simulations. I ride pretty much like I drive normally in a car on the road and am not into wheelies or other wild biker stuff and like to just cruise. I have also already purchased the safety gear and have the helmet, gloves, jacket, pants and boots. I think that it will take me some time to get hired anywhere or get my SS issues resolved, but I am still missing many payments that I think to this day that I was somehow frauded out of and frauded out of again.
So that is what I am attempting to fund. I do of course have all of the documents, etc that prove everything is exactly what happened and what it has been like since losing my license in 2008 and then my stroke in 2013. But it is about the future and not letting things and problems that happen to you keep from doing what you dream of and work for and dream of accomplishing for your self. It will assist me with getting the bike and myself all ready to finally return to the road and stay riding and progress with my life in general, including of course obtaining a steady income. I have of course tried different 'ways' online without any luck with that either and a bunch of scams or things that are not even worth it.
I do have a Microsoft OneNote notebook with all of the details and documents which I will share the link to.
Thanks for any assistance, and whether you ride or drive please do so safely and adhere to the rules of the road and the things you know just being a driver on the expressway for example, look out for cyclists and motorcyclists and just chill.
I do have some more things that I could do to the bike and would like to: OZ Wheels, LED Angel/Demon eye headlight, LED screen speedo/guages, gear, etc. which would add up to around 8-10K. But I do like the bike how it is and just really need to get rolling again.
I am here to answer any questions etc and provide whatever info. I don't make things up and it is all true. The funds donated go toward gas throughout the year, insurance, new tires -the bike currently has Pirelli Angel GT tires but they are old and have some small gashes in them, any potential repairs or other issues that may arise, having my Driven Racing front sprocket installed, tool kit, anti-theft alarm and chain, clearcoat, general maintenance etc, maybe a new jacket, since I only have a preforated leather one for riding. And of course my new MC class license. I plan on starting out locally and getting used to it, and then also travelling to some cool places to visit. And I will have photo's and am also installing a Samsung 360 VR camera for video on the tail, and will need a front/helmet cam too.
I also need a small tar/concrete job done on the end of the driveway, so that the front lower fairing sections of my bike don't crunch on the legnth of tar mound that the town has put dividing the road and my driveway. I have requested that it be fixed last year with the highway department but nothing so far. But that is what happened when the bike was delivered, and the delivery guy and I had to angle it a certain way to get over the hump.
I am currently not active on any social media other than @motoheromission on X, but will provide links when I become a user again.
