Smith Creek Motorcyclist hit by car
Donation protected
Saturday, June 3, 2017, Andy Ayles was riding his Harley on Sparling Road when a driver of a car did NOT see him. The car turned into Andy and his bike and he was thrown more than 100 feet off the road.
Andy was taken to Port Huron Mercy Hospital and later transferred to Beaumont Royal Oak to repair extensive damage done to his left leg, ankle, and foot. He has had one surgery to stop all the bleeding and currently waiting on a second surgery to reattach ligaments, and tendens. Along with getting plates and screws to repair all the broken bones.
Andy is a mechanic at Joe's Shop on Gratiot and Wadhams in Marysville. He will be out of work for a long time, which of course, the bills will be adding up. Andy is a very nice guy that is always helping people out with their car problems or anything else he can do.
Andy is very fortunate to be alive and has a long road to recovery. So help if you can even if it is just a prayer for his speedy recovery. So look twice and Thank you.
