To restore our Vespa rental on Lake Garda
Donation protected
For the second time, Motoragazzi's office in San Felice del Benaco at Lake Garda was burned down. The first time it was destroyed on May 7th 2022. 12 new scooters worth about €80,000 were lost in a fire.
Less than three months later, history repeated itself. July 17th, another 12 scooters burned together with our mobile office. After the first fire, we covered the losses with a bank loan and our own money. But now we're desperate. The company is in danger of closure. Twelve great guys could lose their jobs. And Lake Garda will lose a unique service, which, thanks to our self-guided tours and the high quality of service, has become a new attraction of the region.
We don't know who is doing this, local criminals, competitors or those who hate Russians (the founder of Motoragazzi is Andrey Matveev, a Russian who left Russia in 2015 because of disagreement with Putin's policy). The police were unable to find the criminals the first time. Most likely, the arsonists will evade responsibility this time as well.
We won't give up. We will restore our activity in San Felice del Benaco, and will continue to give joy to those who want to explore the beauties of Lake Garda by riding a nice Italian scooter.
We are raising funds to purchase new Vespas and start all over again. We want to keep our business alive and keep our team to continue being one of the most innovative, stylish and advanced scooter rentals in Italy and in all Europe.
