Motor's Motor
Donation protected
Mike "Motor" Rosenau is that guy who's heart is as big as his stature. And Motor, for those who haven't had the pleasure of meeting him, is not a small guy.
Motor has donated his time to an assortment of non profits, charities and truckshows . His biggest undertaking was supplying and driving his "Support The TroopsTruck" and trailer across Canada as the support vehicle for "The Rolling Barrage." He donated 30 plus days and took an unpaid leave of absence from work to be in that role. He won the hearts of hundreds of veterans, first responders and their families for his dedication to the cause.
Fast forward to what we're doing here.
Motor ended up having engine troubles and wasn't in a position to make the necessary repairs. So the "Support the Troops Truck" was parked.
What he kept to himself and only a handful of close friends, was that not only did the engine need a complete rebuild, he has been diagnosed with Acute Myloid Leukemia or bone marrow cancer.
So what's the ask?
We want to raise the funds to share the burden amongst donors and take those repair costs off of his plate while he charges into the rigorous schedule of cancer treatment.
With financial assistance from Cummins Diesel, Kamloops BC, and the rebuild team from Tridem Services, Kelowna BC a good portion of the costs are already being covered.
