Mount Productions Start-Up Fund

Mount Productions founders, Ellis Carmichael-Willins and Krista Rose Coniglio, met at Roosevelt University while studying Acting and Performance. What started as a college friendship quickly became a partnership, working towards a brighter future for cinema. Krista and Ellis see Mount Productions as a gateway towards creating original work in a safe and consent-based environment. At Mount Productions, artists marry discipline with passion to achieve the company mission.

Based in the Chicago-land area, Mount Productions strives to offer support and resources to both beginner-level and seasoned artists looking for a way into the film industry. By establishing a physical network for artists to circulate through, the long term mission of connectivity becomes possible. This mission has remained clear every step of the way: Art is for everyone, and as young artists, it is our duty to cultivate a diverse network of creatives who are dedicated to uplifting one another, and utilizing their wide range of skill sets to achieve a common creative vision.

Investing in a start-up company is a huge risk, but one that we feel confident making. If you have been touched by art in some way or another, then you already understand its importance. Art is a mirror to the world around us, and as young filmmakers, we hope to capture and convey accurate representations of the world as it evolves. The money raised from this GoFundMe will not only improve the quality of our work, but solidify our presence in Chicago as a registered LLC, as well as aiding us in our general operations costs over the course of 2024-25.
