Mountain Biking Ladies Australia - Short Film

Working with an amazingly talented local photographer/videographer, Sam Purdie, we aim to create a short film highlighting YOUR community. Empowering women who ride dirt, sharing your stories and encouraging more girls on bikes.

Throughout the video, we will highlight the many benefits of mountain biking for this growing demographic, such as the physical and mental health benefits of regular exercise and the camaraderie that often develops among riders. We will also explore some of the barriers they had to overcome to feel comfortable in the industry.

Featuring interviews and interviews to take place at our biggest skills weekend to date, at Beechworth - Indigo Epic on 3rd March 2024. Footage also to be taken at various women’s MTB events throughout late 2023/early 2024. 

Supporting local trails, clubs & businesses while also challenging some identified limitations to women's participation at events. These include all-female coaches, provision of childcare and active steps to welcome marginalised genders.

All donations are gratefully received to help bring this dream to fruition.
