Mountaineering Shelter Marko Novkovic Fundraiser
Born in 1989, Melbourne, Australia, First Lieutenant Marko Novkovic was highly commended for his work in the Croatian Air Force and the Air Force Acrobatic Team “Krila Oluje” (Wings of Storm) and graded with the highest marks.
Through his dedication in his professional career, he was best known for being a good friend, reliable, and honest. He was the person you would have turned to whenever you needed encouragement. Brave and fearless, he was always there to help everyone in need.
Marko spent his free time discovering the beauty of Velebit mountain where he engaged in preserving and educating others about the importance of Velebit and its nature.
It has been just over a year without Marko, and we have decided to honour him with something very special. Our hope is to build a mountain shelter on Velebit, where anyone hiking through the area can peacefully rest and shelter when in need.
We kindly ask you to consider partnering with our project in constructing the “Mountaineering Shelter Marko Novkovic”.
