Mourne Community First Responders
This group has been set up in memory of James Grant RIP.
"There will be times in life when you will never know the value of a moment, until it becomes a memory"
Mourne Community First Responders (MCFR) is currently in its early stages of being set up. The aim of the group is to reach a potentially life threatening emergency in the vital first few minutes prior to the arrival of an ambulance. Community First Responders are trained to provide basic life support (CPR) and use a defibrillator if required, and are alerted in addition to an Ambulance. The volunteers will complement and work in partnership with the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service to the Community of Mourne.
We are delighted to announce that we currently have a great Team of voluntary Responders within the Mourne Community who are willing to be trained by Northern Ireland Ambulance Service to provide this vital service .
It is hoped in the coming months that we will keep the Community Of Mourne updated on this service and the progression to our official live date.
I would like to sincerely thank our Team of volunteers who have come forward and supported this service for every member of the Mourne Community.
Please support this vital Service for every member of the Mourne Community so we can provide a Responder Bag for all our volunteers.
