Citizens Alliance for Government Integrity (Move Silfab)
Donation protected
Hello All,
Our initial goal has been met. We raised well over $10,000 to take on SilFab. We have used the initial donations towards attorney’s fees in defending the BZA (board of zoning appeals) decision to stop heavy industrial here in Fort Mill. This suit is tied up in circuit court. See initial post below:
As you may know, a group of us have been working with an attorney for consultation.
A few days ago, we have contracted with attorney J. Cameron Halford of South Carolina. A retainer has been sent to his firm. SilFab must not be allowed to operate in a light industrial zoned area. Instead, they must find an area that allows for heavy industrial. As we know the BZA (board of zoning appeals ) has already agreed there was a mistake by the county leaders but Silfab has continued to go forward.
We ask all York county residents to help support our community. All donations will strictly go towards attorney’s fees. Please share this gofund me with your neighbors.

Fast Forward: today 8/28, we have formed a non profit organization named CAGI (citizens alliance for government integrity).
As we have move silfab tied up in circuit court, we are simultaneously initiating action against the county and Dhec. We ask you again to help support our non profit (if you are able) as we are doing everything we can to put a stop to the madness. York county leaders must be held accountable.
neighbors, thank you all (again) for your support. For those who have asked, we are also able to take checks made out to CAGI and delivered to Scott, Andy, Tim or myself.
CAGI is up and running!
