Movember Stash Bash

For the entire month of Movember, I will be raising funds for prostate cancer research and awareness.

According to the Canadian Cancer society, on average, 64 Canadian men will be diagnosed with this type of cancer every day. Of those diagnosed, 11 Canadian men will die from this cancer every day. Movember isn't strictly about prostate cancer (though that is where any and all funds raised will be going). Movember is also about men's health in general.

My Pledge:

If I'm able to raise $1000 for prostate cancer research, I will get up on stage at Darcy's pub downtown and shave off my moustache (which I've had for 5 years, and I have no idea what's under there any more).

 

Thanks in advance to everyone who donates. This is a cause that is near and dear to my heart, and I hope together we can not only raise money for this cause, but also awareness for the health of grandfathers, fathers, husbands and sons everywhere.

Update: All funds raised after November 16th will be donated directly to BC Cancer Foundation.
