Anwatin Middle is home to a very diverse student body who do not always see their ability to overcome barriers in their own lifes. Many students face unstable home environments from parents in living in jail, living in shelters, and or mental health issues. This movie shines a light on women in history who they can identify with. Women who were underestimated, unappreciated, and unheard of in history who overcame long odds of sexism and racism to play a significant role in the one the major accomplishments of the 20th century placing a man on the moon.
