We all need connection, creativity, and community.
That’s why I've gathered an incredible group of people who embody these core values through their art.
Join us for a multi-day virtual Zoom event celebrating the LatinX dance community and benefitting The Young Center for Immigrant Children's Rights.
On August 28-30 we’ll be joining together for three full days of dance, fitness, community, and Q&As with industry professionals/artists. We’re offering classes in…
-Ballet
-Modern
-Improvisation
-Afro-Colombian Fusion
-Latin Heels Class
-Contemporary
-Latin Ballroom
-Yoga
I’m Alicia Delgadillo, a professional dancer formerly with Hubbard Street Dance Chicago. I have been searching for new ways to honor my Nicaraguan heritage while supporting a cause that needs our attention. The Young Center is currently serving children taken into custody remotely as needed by the staff, attorneys, and social workers from all 8 regional offices via video-teleconferenced meetings and court dates. Donations will go directly to the Child Advocate program, which supports this work wherever the children they serve are located.
Classes are free and open to all levels and ages. We’re offering a suggested donation sliding scale. Please pay what you can and consider donating even if you do not wish to participate in a class. Options include:
Weekend passes $80-$125/full weekend
Day passes $45-$60/day
Class passes $3-$25/class
Teaching artist credits include So You Think You Can Dance, Steven Spielberg's West Side Story, On Your Feet 1st National Tour, New York City Ballet, The Joffrey Ballet, Limon Dance Company, The Guthrie Theater and more!
Schedule to come!!
