Moving Away From the Abuse

Hello my name is GB, and I'm in a little bit of a bind.

I've been living in a very poor situation with my family. I live with my Mother, Step Father, Uncle, Gandfather (owner of the house), and Younger Step Brother. This is only a 4 bedroom house I'm stuck using only half of a room because the othe rhalf is full of items from my family (particularly my mother) who has not been working for over 3 years now (I lost track if I'm honest) so my living space even with me having the master bedroom is slim and cubicle like. To top that off my step father has been trying to convince the rest of the family to kick me out on my own without any warning, or even giving me a chance to get on my feet because everywhere I turn I'm having to pay some new bill. Water Bill here because their awful habits somehow managed to put them below paying that off, suddenly next month I pay the Internet, etc. I think it paints the picture from here.

I've been trying to move out, but it's their constant surprises that keep hitting me harder on top of the constant lack of communication. It's difficult for me to ask for help, I've always thought I had to be the one helping and the people I live with have somewhat beat this into me and it's... not healthy. So... here I am, I need help. I want to get out of this terrible situation and I want to have a fresh place to breath, to start new and with people who will listen as well as those I can rely on as well. I want control of my life.

For this trip I have a friend who i will be rooming with that is going to be flown out and will help to drive the truck over. I don't have a license to drive which has been one of the many hurdles for this moving trip.

Every bit helps and any extra can go to furniture and other nessesities for the new place.

I have calculated every bit of the cost and a little extra for unforseen surprises along the way.

I know it is good to be transparent and here is the breakdown for the trip.

Truck = $1,972

Gas = $1,125

Hotel = $575

Food = $300

Flight to Cali and Uber to the truck = $310
