Moving Mountains for Deb
Donation protected

On Sunday, life for Deb changed dramatically. Sitting on her deck enjoying the day, she suffered a major stroke. She couldn't move out of her chair, but had her cell phone with her and was able to contact her daughter. After calling emergency services, Deb got a ride to St. Anthony's Central in a helicopter - she said she couldn't believe she got a ride in a helicopter, but I'm sure she wished it was for a different reason!
She has a blood clot in her brain that couldn't be removed on the first try. She didn't have feeling in her left arm and leg but some feeling has come back since her admittance on Sunday. Deb had no sight in her left eye, but time will tell if it this condition will be permanent.

She is surrounded and supported by her daughters, son and grandkids; the love they share with their mother and grandmother was truly inspiring for me to be blessed enough to experience on Monday!
Because I was inspired by this incredible family, I felt compelled to help on their long road ahead.
As her family focuses on Deb's recovery, I would like to see us support the family in the background and ease financial burdens that they will inevitably be facing. Deb will need physical therapy and the family has received news that she will possibly need a wheelchair. She will have to move closer to her physical therapy location which might mean finding a new apartment and facing moving costs. She currently shares her apartment with her daughter. Our support will lighten the burden of immense medical bills, co-pays, medical necessities such as a wheelchair, physical therapy, moving costs and rent.
At this point, I want to thank you for reading Deb's story and I hope you will join me in supporting her and her long recovery.
