UPDATE 7/20/23:

UPDATE: Dillon Ross (Father) Today was, by far the hardest day of Chrystal and I lives. Biopsy results were in and we were told our sweet baby for sure has stage 4 Neuroblastoma Cancer that has spread well through her body . Though we were confirmed this tragic news today some things were super positive as in, Womens and Childrens here in town did everything they could to rush this thing for us. Dr Dayo in Baton Rouge did the pet scan today. All things that could have taken weeks to a month to gather up! Seems we got a pretty good jumpstart on this thing! We are Just making it back home after a long drawn out day in Baton Rouge. They let us come home tonight to finish gathering our things and Sunday we will arrive at St Jude’s and as quick as Monday we get started with treatments with no for sure time we will be able to make it back to town!!! It is every bit as serious as we were mentally prepare to hear, nothing too much worse but unfortunately nothing less either. There was a lot of confidence from Dr Dayo that we are going to the worlds number one place for this situation! Below is a gofundme friends and family set up for us at the beginning of the week that I contemplated even posting before i knew we would need some serious help! Lots of people have been asking and now with us not knowing how long we will be by our babies side fighting this battle im here to ask for a little help! Hey Everyone, 

On Saturday July 15th 2023 Emmalyn Grace was brought to the hospital for a large lump found on the left side of her neck. After test were run, the doctors have concluded that she has multiple tumors throughout her body, ranging from her lower abdomen all the way up to the left lymph node. As of this current time the family is being sent to Our Lady of the Lakes where they will then see a Pediatric Oncologist and Hematologist. Doctors are stating this looks like stage 4 Neuroblastoma and are waiting for the biopsy to come back. We will then know how aggressive this is. Upon waiting for results, Emmy has had a chemo port put in and will start treatments very soon. Emmy Grace, after just turning Three years old is currently in the biggest battle of her life. We are her army and we will fight until our last breath. We ask for prayers at this time and everyday moving forward for this family. What a journey this will be but we know we serve a mighty God. As friends of the family we have made this GoFundMe to help with any expenses the family has. We want to relieve the burden of worrying about their bills so that their main focus can be on Emmalyn Grace and their three other children Barrett, Elise and Evelyn Hope.
