Muscular Dystrophy Foundation SA

As the daughter of a Muscular Dystrophy sufferer, and an avid runner, I decided to take a leap of faith in my strength of body and mind to create awareness for Muscular Dystrophy in South Africa. My body is working...those who suffer from MD can't say the same. My mom has suffered from this terminal illness for over 35 years, making this a pledge from the deepest part of my being. In association with The Muscular Dystrophy Foundation of South Africa (www.mdsa.org.za), I will continually run half, full, and ultra marathons (both trail and road) in order to create awareness of MD in SA, and to help raise funds for the MDSAF. I hope to make my muscles move to cause awareness for those whose muscles can't.
