Short Version:
Onwards and upwards! I am very much still rooted in Jesus-Haus, Herrnhut (Germany), however, the months ahead will mean a signifcant increase in travel for me as I follow the Lord's leadership. I will be travelling to Israel for one week with my team (Nov), to England for 4 months (Dec-March) to serve primarily in my sending church and to Kansas City, US (Dec / Jan) to attend the Global Leadership Summit and One Thing. This brings with it, of course, a need for increased prayer support and finances (above and beyond my regular support). I am, therefore, seeking to raise an additional £4000 / €4,500 euros to cover the expenses for the next 5 months. I would be delighted if you would partner with me in this season ahead.

On 10th of the 10th (Oct), I had a privilege of celebrating the 10th anniversary since I first came to Jesus-Haus, Herrnhut. It was wonderful to celebrate with my Herrnhut family! In September, the Lord whispered into my heart this question: will you give me another 10 years in Jesus-Haus? This is a question I am taking seriously and giving much time to consider. Obviously with the Lord things can change so fast, however, as things stand right now, I am gearing up for sowing longer-term here in Jesus-Haus Herrnhut. At the same time, the Lord has been speaking to me about a shift towards a more global focus (including more travel) on behalf of Jesus-Haus and about sowing back into my sending church.
With this in mind, there are many changes ahead for me in the next few months and many opportunities for our house that weave into this and are a part of the story. The biggest news is that in December I will leave Jesus-Haus for 4 months to be in the UK. The core reasons for this are:
1. To spend a season (January – March) serving and relationally investing in my sending church, Ormskirk Christian Fellowship. I was sent out from there 11 years ago! They have invited me to input into their leadership team for this season and I go with the support and blessing of the elders here in Jesus-Haus. This opportunity will help nurture the relationship with my home congregation and give me the opportunity to serve there for a season as well as helping me to grow in leadership.
2. To spend some more time with my parents (mainly December).
3. To spend time doing more focussed study – I am completing a bible course: ‘Christ Academy’ led by Jason Hubbard.
4. To visit ministry / house of prayer leaders to share our hearts and develop stronger connections for Jesus-Haus.
5. To broaden my network of support (personal, intercessory, financial) for the seasons ahead.
I believe the Lord has other reasons that I cannot see yet but that will impact my future in Jesus-Haus and beyond. I am so thankful that the elders have released me from my responsibilities in Jesus-Haus for this time. I believe this time will also set me on course for the years of ministry ahead whether in Jesus-Haus or elsewhere in the Nations.
In addition to this I have other travelling opportunities on the horizon:
Israel - In November, I will travel to Israel for one week with my team. We will visit some houses of prayer in Jerusalem before spending a few days at a house of prayer on Mount Carmel where Karen Davies & her team are.
Kansas City, USA - At the end of December, I will travel to Kansas City for 12 days as I was invited to attend the Global Leadership summit and One Thing Gathering at IHOPKC. Whilst there, I will have opportunity to invest in some important relationships and explore some exciting plans for the future for Jesus-Haus and for me personally. I believe this is a very strategic.
For all this, I really need your help in prayer, friendship and finances. I believe the Lord has asked me to pray for an increase in my intercessory back-up as I step into this new season. If you are interested in receiving more specific and detailed prayer updates, please get in touch. Also, my regular support / income covers my everyday needs in Herrnhut but is not enough to cover the increase in travel and the costs in the UK. For Israel, Kansas City and my time in UK, I estimate that I will need an additional £4000 (€4,500) to cover my expenses over the next 5 months.
