Moving to St Louis unexpectedly

Donation protected
I'm Chelsea Luttrell, Williams class of 2011, and I've been living in Columbia, MO for the last decade with the same roommates. When i moved here in 2012, it was the best option, and I've stayed due to certain relationships. Unexpectedly and very unplannedly, my roommates and I are coming to a parting of the ways with 2 weeks left in my rental month. I have to be out, full stop, by Nov 26th at the absolute latest. The timing is not great as this comes after 3 months of really bad health, where I've been decimating my savings to stay afloat. There are no rentals in the central missouri area that are in my price range and will allow me to keep my cat, Denali. This floofball is the light of my life and leaving him behind is not an option. I don't have the liquid capital for the pet and security deposit for an overlapping amount of rent or to hire movers or someone to drive a uhaul (I don't drive) to somewhere where we can safely live. Because of the way this occurred, I also honestly do not want to remain in the immediate area/feel it best to do so, which means I've been scrambling to find some place for us to go since last Thursday that didn't involve Denali and I moving back to Alaska on 2 weeks notice, which would have been hellaciously cost prohibitive. It's been very stressful for me, Denali, and the others involved.

There is good news! 1) since I work from home, I will be able to continue with my current position, and 2) through a lot of luck and a lot of suggestions, I was able to find a new place to lease in St Louis, which will be located near better health care and job opportunities (well, in the future if i choose to, anyway, as I've been very constrained in what i could apply to the last 10 years due to staying in the central Missouri area) AND near public transit and within walking distance of grocery stores, which will enable me to be independent in a new area since I don't drive.

If I can raise the money for the deposits and November's rent, I will be able to go pick up the keys on the 8th, my next day off when the rental agency is open. I'm already planning to take greyhound to go pick the keys up. Denali and I could be fully settled in our new apartment as early as the 15th, provided I can get the internet hooked up and our belongings transported before my shift on the 17th. I'll also need to buy things like a shower curtain, curtains, cleaning supplies, a set of dishes for both me and him, a litter box, light bulbs, even deodorant and body wash, since any joint or house purchases will be remaining with my roommates.

While I'm actually really looking forward to being somewhere new and on my own and i was incredibly lucky to find something that works so well, I need y'all's help to get there and settled. (Once that occurs, my budget shows that rent and internet shouldn't be a major issue, even though my rent is increasing dramatically.)

I need at least 2000 for the rental expenses, and about 1000 in gas money, possible uhaul or movers, the aforementioned greyhound, etc.
