Moving to...JAPAN!

Japan’s cuisine, language, and manga have always enticed me, and over the years Vincent and I have felt physically pulled to Japan and its culture.
When we traveled to Japan the connection was instant. The blend of history and radically futuristic progression left us in a state of exaltation. Japan quickly changed from a curiosity to a place of possibilities and chances, and upon leaving our conversations quickly turned from vacations to something much more permanent.
When I came across an opportunity to teach abraod I focused in, and I have taken every step necessary in making that a reality. I go to Japan not just to teach, but to be taught. I want to expand on my knowledge of Japanese cultural norms so I can better integrate cross-cultural learning into my future teaching.
To Vince and I, starting a family is important and on our horizon. We intend to use this time to better know each other and ourselves as well as to save for the future we envision.
Moving is rarely inexpensive, and this endeavor is definitely the biggest task Vincent and I have ever undertaken (willingly). I have set up this fund in addition to our own personal savings plan in order to get us on our feet, procure much-needed amenities, housing, and food costs, as well as a vehicle. Anything that can help us towards successfully achieving our goal is helpful and so incredibly and deeply appreciated.
