Mowgli Beverley run a marathon for Martin House CH

On 12th May, Michael our Senior Sous at Mowgli Beverley is taking on the challenge of 26.2 miles to raise awareness and funds for the amazing Martin House Children's Hospice, the house charity for our Beverley restaurant.

Michael says "It’s my first marathon, in fact it’s my first official run ever so I don’t really know what to expect! I’m just gonna go for it! I’ve no target in mind, just to get round

Training was going really well last year and into this with a nice progressive training programme but a damaged Achilles in February meant I missed 5 weeks so pretty much felt like I was starting from scratch in March

But I’ll get round 1 way or another - any tips from experienced mowgli marathon runners appreciated "
