Moyne Villa Astro Development

Moyne Villa is a great community club located in the West of Ireland; we are in the small townland of Headford Co.Galway. We love to see our club grow year on year. But, of course, Ireland is green for one reason: the amount of rain we get every winter, making it almost impossible for some games and training to go ahead week after week.

As a result, we have just had a period of no activity and matches, which is disappointing as our club members love playing their games and get so much fun out of training. We are looking to change this situation with an all-weather Astro being started in April 2022. 

 We have some funding through grants from sports capital, but this only covers half the cost of the building works.

Having this all-weather facility will mean the children can train, play, and use the facility all year round; this will also bring extra funding from other clubs who want to use our top-class facility time and time again.
