Moyo Mór: Help build an Orphanage & School in Arusha

We are embarking on a heartfelt mission to build an orphanage in Arusha, Tanzania, and we need your support to make this dream a reality. This orphanage will be a sanctuary for children who have been abandoned, neglected, abused, or orphaned due to diseases such as HIV/AIDS or malaria, poverty, crime, drugs/alcohol & sexual abuse. These children, boys and girls, ranging from newborns to young adults, deserve a place where they can feel safe, loved, and nurtured.

Tanzania has a high population, and while there are many existing programs, the demand far exceeds the supply. Many children are forced to live on the streets, not knowing when their next meal will be, without a bed to sleep in, or any certainty about what tomorrow will bring. They don't deserve to spend one more night on the streets. Their biggest worries should be confined to boring homework and who cheated during hide & seek.

These children also face many health issues such as malnourishment, tooth decay, cavities, TB, mental health problems, wounds that do not have the chance to heal and some turn to substance abuse due to their unimaginable circumstances.

Our vision for the orphanage includes dormitories, washrooms, a kitchen, and common areas for eating, playing, and studying. We also dream of expanding the facility to include a small school and library, providing the children with the education they need to build a brighter future.
