Hey guys, thank you for taking the time to come to my Go Fund me.
I started this account because I want to pursue my dream of becoming a professional.
If you’ve seen my videos you know I’ve been hyping up the Georgia Open Qualifier. Out of around 38 players I was one of three that qualified to the Georgia Open by shooting 1 over par. The other two scores were -1 and +1.
I have been playing golf since my Grandpa Gaylor gave me my first clubs when I was 2yr old. Then Coach Kurt Hitsman took me under his wing from 6th grade through 12th grade for the “Carrollton Trojans”. I was a 4yr letterman with 4 state tournament appearances.
I played golf for 3 years at Piedmont University. During my sophomore year we won the USA South Conference for the first time in School history and qualified for Nationals where we placed in the Top 10. Funny story, I led the Tournament for 27 holes with a score of 3 under. This experience gave me the drive to compete at the next level. Last year as an amateur I qualified and made the cut in the Georgia Open but was not mentally prepared for the 4day grind of a professional tournament. I took some time off to think about what is next in my career. This is when I decided to commit 100% of my time to graduating from college and pursuing golf as a career. With the support of my Family, I made the decision to go professional because I know that my game is at the level where I can compete with the best golfers and be successful. However, my family recommended for me to continue working on the mental aspects of the game. Hahaha. Furthermore, after qualifying for the Geogia open this year reality set in. How am I going to be able to afford to be a professional? How will I afford the expenses that come with being a pro? The expenses of hotels, tournament fees, food, equipment, gas, and being out of work for 5 days. With that being said, I want to ask family and friends for donations. Any amount is greatly appreciated. I would also appreciate the opportunity to gain donations thru sponsorships to support my golf career.
Again thank you guys for stopping to read this! EVERYONE STAY BLESSED!
