With medical expenses

Dear family, friends , and kind-hearted strangers,

I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out to you as many have already seen or heard about a shooting that took place on Sunday at Lincoln park at the Low Lows & Tacos event. The person that was struck and taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound was my dad, who was just an innocent bystander not involved in the altercation that occurred. He is a great person with a kind heart, always helping family/friends with any little he can. If someone ask for assistance he wouldn’t hesitate and helps out as much as he could. Not only does he put others first, but he is also still attending school currently and is close to receiving his bachelors degree. With this unfortunate incident that occurred this weekend bills are piling up medically. There’s only one income in the household coming from his wife who is currently missing work, as she is standing by his side till he is healthy and recovered. They also have a little girl who is 10 years old, and needs to be taken care of. The medical bills will cause a burden on the family financially, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

We are starting this GoFundMe campaign to alleviate the financial strain that this gun shot incident has brought into their lives.
