Support for Gary

On Thursday, November 8th 2018 my father was viciously assaulted in front of my parent's home in Boise. He was outside doing yard work when an unknown knife wielding assailant brutally attacked him. He was knocked to the ground and a struggle ensued for more than 10 long minutes. During the assault my father's face, neck, hands, fingers and throat were all severely damaged. Major tendon and nerve damage to his hands and fingers took place while frantically trying to shield the knife attacks from his face and neck. He was unable to block all of the strikes to his face, the worst being a blow to his right cheek that severed the facial nerve to his mouth, limiting his facial movements on that side. The attack only let up when Boise PD arrived, thanks to several neighbors calling 911 shortly after the attack. He survived, and we are very grateful for this, but he will never be the same. We are asking for support to try and put the pieces back together and give him a decent quality of life moving forward. My father is a model citizen, diligent American, Vietnam Vet and most importantly has the characteristics of a good man. He did not deserve this. I simply ask, if you have the means, to help our family in this critical time of need. Thank you.
