MPEPS Most Dedicated needs help! Julia & LIbby

Julia is one of MPEPS most dedicated and hard-working volunteers. She has spent four years on the outreach team completely dedicated to rescuing dogs. Her baby Libby needs surgery asap for TTA Repair. It will cost between $2,500 - $3,000 Unfortunately, it is not something her pet insurance covers due to it being labeled a “pre-existing” condition. Julia in the last 4 years has not only volunteered thousands of hours into dog rescue but has also spent well over thousands of dollars over the past four years to help make this all possible. She even bought a whole house closer to Flint for the soul purpose of being able to get to our outreach dogs faster and have a dedicated space for fostering outreach dogs we get surrendered. Unfortunately, the vet doesn’t accept care credit. Although Julia has been responsible and always kept a cushion for emergency vet visits the total of these surpasses the safety net she had saved. We know Julia will find a way to pay for this but we know it will be a huge stress on her. She truly deserves some relief as she already does so much for the betterment of animal welfare and this is a very stressful life to willingly volunteer in to.
