In Loving memory of Craig Chesters

Hi all. My name is Annie, and I am the Patrao of Crewe Nando’s. I am raising funds to support Craig’s family in organising his funeral.

Craig sadly passed away on 3rd August 2024, after battling bowel cancer since May this year.

Craig started his Nando’s journey back in January 2018 as an Assistant Manager, and has brightened up so many lives since then. He was truly, such a passionate and positive human, whose smile and enthusiasm for life was so contagious to everyone around him.

Craig worked in several restaurants throughout his Nando’s journey starting in Crewe, before heading over to Stoke Potteries, then offered his help at Stafford, before ending his journey where he began, in Crewe.

I had the absolute pleasure of being Craig’s Patrao for the last 3-4 years, at both Stoke and Crewe, and what Craig brought to the team will never be replaced. From baking the most delicious brownies for us all, to telling stories of his passion for travel and his terrible jokes, he never failed to bring laughter into any room he walked in

to.

Craig was larger than life itself, and the void he has left behind will never be filled. He was so caring and kind, always putting others needs before his own, and even during the recent tough months, he still wanted to come into work and spread his joy, despite his own struggles.

My heart truly goes out to his wife Rachel, and all his family and friends during this difficult time.

Heaven has gained an angel far too soon, and he will be missed by many, so much.
