Natalies Medical Expenses

Donation protected
On the evening of Saturday, July 24 Natalie and her friend were hit head on by a driver who crossed over the line on Trent in the Spokane Valley. There were no drugs or alcohol involved. Natalie was driving her vehicle. Both girls were taken by ambulance to Sacred Heart and eventually sent to ICU.

Natalie has many broken bones including both legs, elbow, L4, knee, jaw and loss of her front teeth. God has performed many miracles so far, including facial reconstructive surgery to repair Natalie's jaw, cheek bone, and chin and surgery on both legs and elbow. Her jaw will be wired shut for another couple weeks. Natalie is healing but a concussion and pain meds have kept her from being completely clear headed. She has had moments of responding to her parents, doctors, & nurses by waving, a thumbs up, a nod of her head, talking, etc. Daily her parents are advocating for her, sitting with her, and praying for her. Amy and Don are taking turns staying at the hospital during the days and overnight.

Over the next couple weeks, the Dryden's expect healing and recovery for Natalie. Once she is able to leave the hospital, she will need rehabilitation at St. Lukes. There are many unknowns still in what recovery will look like. Unfortunately, the other driver did not have insurance. This Gofundme is a way to relieve the financial burden of hospital bills and expenses that arise.

For those of you who don’t know Natalie, she is full of joy, loves to dance & sing, and is always smiling. She is hardworking, a friend to everyone, and full of perseverance! We know she will overcome this! Thank you in advance for the financial support . Continue to pray for the miraculous healing of Natalie's body and for her mind as she becomes aware of all she has endured. Pray for Amy and Don, "There is nothing harder than seeing your precious child in this state. God has a plan and we are choosing to trust Him when we don't understand." In the ER waiting room, Amy kept saying over and over, “Natalie is going to be ok. God is doing something in this situation that is far-reaching.”
