Help Melissa and her family!

Melissa's friends are asking for donations, so she does not have to worry about financials during this challenging time her family is facing!

Melissa's son Alan was taken in for emergency brain surgery a few days ago due to a simple elbow to his eye while playing basketball with friends.

Melissa cared for Alan at home for the first few days, but the injury worsened. This accident had actually caused a fracture leading to a sinus infection, which spread to his brain.

Unfortunately, Melissa, an amazing nurse, never prepared or imagined she would see her healthy 12-year old, amazing kiddo being taken in for emergent brain surgery. Alan has the most magical smile! He's kind, brave, a fantastic brother, straight-A student, and a phenomenal athlete.

As fellow moms, Melissa's friends can understand that she wants to be able to focus on getting him healthy and back to school/life. Please consider donating what you can so she can focus on caring for her son without extra worry!
