Mike’s Road to Recovery

Hi, we, Mike’s family, have arranged this go fund me to help with the expenses during Mike’s Road to Recovery. We don’t even know what that will look like yet, except that it will be a very long, extremely hard one.

What we do know for sure is Mike, Courtney and Hunter need to be wrapped in love and support at this time.

For those who don’t know, Mike was involved in a motorbike accident that has left him with serious injuries, he has fractures in his lower back and the extent of the damage is still unknown. I can hardly bring myself to say it, but the prognosis is maybe never to walk again.

They are the most beautiful, loving family. Two extremely hard working people and dedicated parents to their little man.

Hunter will be turning 1 soon and his dad might still be in a hospital bed for it. Courtney and Mike have their wedding planned for later this year too. Everything is so unknown right now.

We are a very humble family who are always willing to give but never ask for anything. But if there was ever a time we need to put our pride to the side and ask for help. It is now. Mike is too precious, Courtney and Hunter are too cherished not to try.

We are all feeling the cost of living which is out of control, rent is exuberant, groceries and bills it all stacks up - then to add multiple trips to Sydney, accomodation costs and everything that comes with being away from home.

We just hope that some financial assistance will help alleviate some of the stress so the focus can be on recovery.
