Funding for Classroom Resources & Experience Trips

To everyone reading this, thank you in advance for your interest in supporting my students!

I'm here raising funds for my students, aka Kings, to go on “Experience Trips” that promote inclusivity and equal opportunities. These potential experiences will expose students to diverse environments, cultures, and perspectives, enriching their understanding of the world.

My goal is to take these Experience trips that provide hands-on learning that can’t be replicated in the classroom, fostering curiosity and engagement, by eliminating financial barriers. We want to extend opportunities for all students to have access to these transformative experiences, contributing to their personal growth and academic success. My goal is to give students the opportunities to have hands-on experiences that they don’t have the financial means to do within their households.

Historically, students of color have faced numerous barriers to accessing educational opportunities, and these disparities often extend to extracurricular activities like field trips or “experience trips”. Majority of my students are African American low-income male students, who have faced generational traumas within their communities.

Funds raised will be utilized for students to explore outside of their communities and build experiences that may spark an interest for their futures!
