Mr and Mrs Phan - Robbery Recovery Fund
Donation protected
Mr. and Mrs. Phan fled communist Vietnam nearly 30 years ago, and arrived in America not speaking English. When I asked why they left, he said, “To find freedom.”
They used their hard-won freedom to start a small, two-person lawn cutting business, which grew by sacrifice and painful effort.
Ironically, on the 4th of July they were robbed of their livelihood. With $45,000 in lawn equipment gone, they have lost a good deal of their hard-earned American Dream as well.
I’m asking you to join me in helping them rebuild their business as quickly as possible.
Mr. and Mrs. Phan have provided Beverly and me with exceptional yard service for 20 years. They work faithfully in blazing heat and freezing cold, never missing an appointment. Not once. Along the way they’ve become part of our extended family.
Sadly, they could never afford insurance.
How would you like to wake up and find your business stolen? What would you do?
The need for funds is urgent! Currently, the Phans are renting equipment at a cost of $250 per day to continue serving customers during the busy summer season.
Few of us could afford that for long. To the Phans, that’s a fortune.
Despite this setback, they still haven’t missed a day’s work.
To me, the Phans represent everything that’s good about our country. I’m not naïve, but the robbery dented my faith in our community. I immediately wrote a check to cover their short-term expenses. But that is not enough.
Now I need your help. The Phans need your help.
This Go Fund Me Campaign will replace the stolen equipment. The Phans can resume operating their business normally before the summer is lost. They will recover their dignity and return to their dream of running a service business in America.
Please contribute what you can, even small donations matter, and share this posting with friends and social media. Watch this site for weekly updates, photos, and stories about how your contribution is helping Mr. and Mrs. Phan.
With thanks and best wishes,
Bill Frank
