Mr. Beerys has been a mainstay of the Long Island bar and music scene for over 25 years. The tavern has had thousands of musicians and patrons enjoy a cold one from the taps over its illustrious history. Like so many businesses, Covid 19 has shaken our business model and upended the livelihoods of our dedicated staff. The customers are our second family, the bands that play are what we listen to, and the beers we serve are what we drink. No virus should have this much power over a place that brings this much joy to its community. This fundraiser is to help Mr. Beerys and its staff navigate through these difficult times. After all we've been through, we're all gonna need Beerys to be there to escape to and have a drink.
Our fundraiser theme is "I Bought in", and all donors will be Beerys honorary shareholders!
Our community of local musicians have stepped up to help Mr. Beerys with a donation of their music for our brand new compilation album, filled with original music on a playable cassette usb drive. Curious about the words playable cassette and usb drive together? read on!
While any contribution size is most graciously appreciated, we've set up some tiers with Beerys merch and exciting media as our way to say thank you for getting involved.
For a 30 dollar contribution - you will receive our Mr. Beerys "I Bought In" playable USB cassette compilation, featuring tons of local Long Island talent sharing their original music with you all.
This is a USB flash drive loaded with music, that comes in a cassette shaped casing. If your car has a usb input, like most cars of the 2010s do, this will play right on your car stereo, or computer or any device that can read a usb drive and play music. Plus, if you decide to put the music on your computer, you'll still have the most rad flash storage drive ever with the Beerys logo on it.
As of now there have been over 30 artists submissions with many more with the intent of sharing their music for the comp. This compilation should easily be over 50 songs!
For a 50 dollar contribution - you will receive the above mentioned usb cassette and our limited edition "I Bought In - Beerys Stockholder" t-shirt with another piece of surprise swag.
A 75 dollar contribution will get you an even bigger care package, with a nice set of Beerys gear to show off to all your friends!
100 dollars will get you the ultimate Beerys honorary stockholder set, loads of Beerys gear with hats, sweatshirts, our USB compilation, and a special surprise!
The bigger the fish, the bigger the feast!
Anything you can give is very much appreciated. These past 2 months for the service industry has been the business equivalent of being thrown in a polar bear exhibit at the zoo. We want to be here for you at the end of this, serving you beer and rocking out all night long.
