Mr. Bovine Animation

Hi, my name is Keisha Brooks. I am an actor, storyteller, writer, author and producer, born and raised in Oakland, California, and now living in Henderson, Nv. Growing up, I loved animals, western movies, and cartoons. l am raising funds because I am determined to create more awareness about the meat and dairy industries and how they affect society. I want to do this through creative storytelling that is visualized through animation. The concept for Mr. Bovine is one to think about and analyze in our thoughts. What if a cow turned into a human? What would they do, eat their kind, and can they communicate like regular people? Could one survive the hustle and bustle of today's volatile society? It is more important now than ever to teach about meat alternatives. Every sentient being wants to thrive and be happy just like we do, so why don't we look at things through their eyes for a change? Suppose animal lovers, creatives and vegan entrepreneurs are interested in seeing a beautiful story turned into a 10-minute animation. In that case, I am more than happy to accept donations to get this up and running. The initial cost will be around $12,000, but the goal is to get to $14,000. I would need at least two animators, four voice actors, a creative director, an editor, sound/music, and food to feed everyone involved. This project has been three years in the making. My first campaign through Seed& Spark did not garner the funds needed. I'm hoping this time around, there will be more people out there who can see the vision and fall in love with this story and characters, just like I did. When a cow turns into a human, his eyes are opened to the harsh realities of the world around him and the decisions he must make to fit in. Mr. Bovine takes us on a journey in the life of a sentient being tempted by the meat industry and conflicted about eating his own kind.
