Cancer sucks: Support Mr. Green
Donation protected
Update: It has been amazing seeing the support from everyone. While continuing to not overshare medical information that isn’t mine to share- I will say it’s a long road to recovery and is requiring 24/7 care in a rehabilitation facility. Please continue to share and donate. Easing the financial burden is one thing that we can contribute.
Hi! My name is Cari Claypool-Cooney. Mr. Michael J. Green was my BHS marching band director from 1998-2001 and I have remained a close friend of the family. His amazing children, Geoffrey and Elizabeth have been helping with care, including financial burdens that insurance doesn't cover. This includes insane copays, fuel costs to and from treatment and doctor's visits, emergency room visits, food/nutrition replacements, medication, and items that make his home safer and more comfortable while he battles the beast. When I heard about the out of pocket costs, I was absolutely devastated.
Mr. Green has thousands of people out there who love and support him and his family- and now is the time to show our support. Cancer is like those white socks on the marching band field.....there ain't no time for that! Band...TEN HUT- GO DOGS!
Every penny you donate goes to Geoffrey (his son and my best concert buddy on earth)- as the beneficiary who has been doing an excellent job caring for his dad. He has the best children ever- let's show our love to Mr. G! Thank you Thank you Thank you! And Mr. Green totally most likely didn't want me to do this....but he can fight me later =)
