It is with profound sadness that the Kam family announces the loss of our beloved husband, father, and grandfather Mr. Kam Kwong Ning who passed swiftly and peacefully on Saturday August 4th, 2018 at the age of 83 (Chinese age of 88). He is survived by his wife Wai Kam, daughter Karen Kam, son Calvin Kam, daughter-in-law Joy Li Kam, and grandson Pok Hin Kam.
Kam Kwong Ning lived an accomplished and fulfilling life infused with the power of his kind soul, guided by his impeccable integrity, and oriented by his strict-disciplined attitude. Separated from his parents at a young age by geopolitical strife and warfare, Kwong Ning met the challenge of self-reliance with a brave entrepreneurial spirit, becoming a furniture apprentice and then creating other real estate and stock brokerage businesses. He blessed his family with love and opportunity, and his friends and community with leadership and generosity. He dedicated the latter half of his life to service of those in need, volunteering time and promoting good works. His generosity touched and improved many of us. Mr. Kam Kwong Ning will be deeply missed and dearly remembered for a life well lived.
A ceremony celebrating his life is scheduled for August 12th, 2018 from 12noon to 1:30pm at the Hong Kong Funeral in Hong Kong.

我們全家懷著十分沉痛的心情緬懷親愛的丈夫、父親及爺爺。 甘寧先生與人為善，誠實守信，嚴以律己。 年少的甘寧先生受戰爭影響與其父母分隔兩地，憑著堅毅的意志， 從傢具學徒逐步邁向多元化的業務。他畢生致力服務社群， 並熱心協助有需要幫助的人士。甘寧先生的成就、人生經歷， 及企業家的精神，成為了我們家人關愛與堅毅的榜樣。近年， 甘寧先生行動不便並患有心臟病，於2018年8月4日星期六安詳 逝世，享年88歲。
治喪謹擇於2018年8月11日(星期六)下午5時在香港殯儀館 設奠公祭。2018年8月12日（星期日）正午12時告別儀式， 1時大殮，1時30分辭靈隨即出殯奉柩將軍澳華人永遠墳場安葬。
