Mr. Kim's Food Truck -A Mobile Food Pantry
Donation protected
Mr. Kim has been operating a mobile food pantry for several years now, distributing free food to the homeless and those in need. Mr. Kim is 81-years old, a first-generation Korean American, and continues to work in the Anchorage custodial industry while operating his mobile food pantry on limited resources. A profile of Mr. Kim was included in the newspaper in 2016: click here.
Some may remember a previous GoFundMe campaign for Mr. Kim to repair his truck and replenish the food after it was vandalized and burglarized: click here. Through the community's support, he was able to resume his charitable mission.
All donations to this campaign will go toward purchasing food for distribution this coming summer.
Mr. Kim asked me, as the organizer, to set up this campaign on his behalf and the donations go directly into his bank account without any intermediary. Mr. Kim serves as President of the Daehan Seniors Association in Alaska Inc., a 501(c)3 organization (EIN 83-3756699).
